Job Application Privacy Notice Under Turkey’s Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK), AYHUQA, as the data controller, informs you about the personal data processed as part of your job application. Personal data processed: your full name, date and place of birth, gender, nationality, marital status and (for male applicants) military service status; your phone numbers, email and home address; your photo, a photo of your ID card and (if you have one) a photo of your driving licence; the department you would like to work in, your preferred type of work, shift availability, start date and salary expectation; your education, foreign language, computer and driving licence details; your work experience, hobbies and smoking status; the CV you optionally upload; the names and contact details of your emergency contact and references; the date of your application and the record of your consent. Special categories of personal data: the form asks about your health, criminal convictions and memberships of associations or organisations. Under Article 6 of the KVKK these are special categories of personal data and are processed only on the basis of your explicit consent. Documents you upload as additional photos may contain information unrelated to your application (e.g. your national ID number); you may cover it before uploading. Other people’s details: please let the people you name as your emergency contact and references know that their details have been passed to us for this purpose. Purpose: to assess your application, to contact you about a suitable position and to carry out the hiring process. Legal basis: your personal data is processed on the basis of the explicit consent you give with the checkbox on the application form. Transfers: your application is stored and transmitted through service providers whose servers are located outside Turkey: Supabase for the database and file storage (European Union, Frankfurt), Resend for sending email (European Union, Ireland) and Vercel for hosting the website. A copy of your application is sent to our business’s Gmail and Hotmail mailboxes for review. Your data is not shared with any other third party. Retention: your application is kept for 6 months from the date you apply and is then deleted automatically, including your photo and CV. Copies in our mailboxes are deleted within the same period. If you ask us to, we delete your application sooner. Your rights: under Article 11 of the KVKK you have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed, to request information about it, to learn the purpose of the processing and whether the data is used accordingly, to know the third parties in Turkey or abroad to whom it is transferred, to ask for incomplete or inaccurate data to be corrected, to ask for it to be deleted or destroyed, to ask for these actions to be notified to the third parties it was transferred to, to object to a result against you that arises from analysis exclusively by automated systems, and to claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.
